Your choices
Privacy Choices & Data Rights
Five things you can do with your OnNest information, and exactly where to do them. Last updated 8 September 2026.
Access my data
Download a copy of everything OnNest holds for you as a single file — your answers, your figures, your goals, plans and account activity. It never includes bank sign-in details or anyone else's information.
Go to SettingsCorrect my information
Anything you entered yourself can be edited on your Money page, and in your goals, plans and answers. If you correct a figure that originally came from a connected institution, OnNest keeps a record that it came from there and that you corrected it.
Go to MoneyDisconnect a financial institution
Stops OnNest gathering anything new from that institution. What was already gathered stays until you delete it separately, so disconnecting doesn't quietly erase your history.
Go to Connected AccountsDelete connected financial data
Removes the account information and activity OnNest gathered from an institution. The figures you entered yourself are not affected — your Financial Reality stays exactly as you left it.
Go to Connected AccountsDelete my OnNest account
Permanently closes your account and removes your information in line with the deletion and retention policy. Any connected institution is disconnected first. You'll be asked to type a confirmation phrase, because this can't be undone.
Go to SettingsWhy you have to sign in
Each of these actions affects your own financial information, so OnNest only carries them out for the signed-in owner of the account. There is no way to request a download or a deletion without signing in — that protects you.
Need help with a request?
If you can't sign in or something isn't working, email support@getonnest.com and we'll help you complete it.
Bank connections aren't switched on yet, so the two connection choices above apply once you have connected an institution. The Privacy Policy explains how long each kind of information is kept.
