Referral Program Terms

Referral Program Terms

The formal rules of the OnNest Referral Program. Version 1.0 (draft — pending legal review), effective September 13, 2026. For the plain-language explanation, see the Referral Program page.

Legal review required. This document records the rules as implemented. Sections 9 (reversal), 10 (fraud and abuse), 11 (redemption and fulfillment), 13 (taxes) and 14 (modification and termination) should receive legal review before production launch. Questions: support@getonnest.com

1. Eligibility

The Referral Program is open to OnNest account holders who are at least 18 years old and in good standing, subject to the OnNest Terms of Use. Participation is personal and non-transferable.

2. Your referral link

OnNest issues each member a referral code generated by OnNest. You may share your personal referral link with people you know. You may not use paid search on OnNest brand terms, spam, impersonate OnNest, or present the link in a way that misstates the program or the OnNest service.

3. One referrer per referred member

A referred member may be attributed to at most one referrer. Attribution is recorded once, at joining, and is never reassigned. A referral code presented after attribution has been recorded, or after the attribution window for the referred account has closed, has no effect.

4. No self-referrals

You may not refer yourself, and you may not use additional or duplicate accounts you control to generate rewards. Self-referrals do not qualify and may result in reversal of rewards and removal from the program.

5. Qualifying paid membership

A referral becomes eligible only when the referred member becomes a paying OnNest member and that payment settles. Creating an account, starting checkout, or an unsettled payment does not create a reward.

6. Reward amount and 7-day hold

Each eligible referral records a reward of $5.00 (USD). A recorded reward is held for seven (7) days after the qualifying payment settles. A reward becomes qualified only after that hold period ends.

7. First-10 limitation and $50 maximum

  • Only the first ten (10) qualified paid referrals per member earn reward value.
  • The lifetime maximum reward value per member is $50.00 (USD).
  • Referrals beyond the first ten are recorded for your history at $0.00 and earn no additional reward value.

8. Redemption threshold

You become eligible to request redemption of an OnNest Reward once your available qualified reward balance reaches at least $20.00 (USD). Reward value below the threshold accumulates until the threshold is reached. Redemption is requested by you and is not automatic.

9. Reversal

  • If a qualifying payment is refunded or disputed, the related reward may be reversed, including a reward that has already qualified.
  • If a payment fails or is reversed before the hold period ends, the held reward is withdrawn.
  • Ordinary cancellation of a membership after a genuinely paid period does not reverse a reward that has already qualified.
  • OnNest does not create negative balances and does not pursue collection of reversed reward value.

10. Fraud, abuse and duplicate accounts

OnNest may review activity that indicates fraud, abuse, duplicate accounts, or any attempt to generate reward value other than through genuine referrals, and may withhold, reverse or cancel reward value and remove a member from the program.

11. Redemption and fulfillment

An OnNest Reward is a digital reward. It is not cash, and OnNest does not guarantee a cash payout, bank transfer or card payout. Redemption may require additional eligibility verification and fulfillment steps, and reward availability may depend on the redemption methods OnNest supports at the time of redemption. Reward value has no cash surrender value and is not transferable.

12. Records

OnNest maintains the authoritative record of attribution, qualification, reward value and reversal. Reward totals shown to you are derived from those records. Information about the people you referred is not disclosed to you beyond the counts and amounts shown in your Referral Nest.

13. Taxes

You are responsible for any tax consequences of participating in the program. OnNest does not provide tax or legal advice and makes no representation about how a reward is treated for tax purposes.

14. Modification and termination

OnNest may modify, suspend or discontinue the Referral Program, or change these terms, at any time. Changes apply prospectively from the date they are posted. Reward value already qualified at the time of a change will be honored in accordance with the terms in effect when it qualified, except where reversal applies under Section 9 or Section 10.
